Coffee Beans is composed of George Remer (Trumpet, Flute, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax), Mark Townsend (Guitar, Base Guitar, Vocals), Rui Simplicio (Congas, Bongo, Tim Bali), Max Buhalde (Drums, Flugo Horn).

            Coffee Beans plays mostly Jazz Fusion with a flavoring of South American and New Orleans’s and pop thrown into the mix.

            Some of the band members had different musical influences. Mark was influence by “The Beatles”; while George and Max were influenced by the Maynard Ferguson Band (Max described the band as a rocking big band.).
