BLVD is a modern band that plays music from America’s song writing past as played by such artists as Crosby- Stills and Nash, Mama’s and Papas, The Beatles and  Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys.  Mary Chapin Carpenter who wrote her songs in a later period is also a favorite of the band. They also play Bluegrass, the Blues and pop music from the 60’s and 70’s.  The band calls this type of music: acoustic rock and country.

BLVD is composed of Bob Sullivan (12 string Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals), Linda Squeo (Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals), Tracy Valentino (Flute, percussion, Vocals), Scott Dempsey (Bass Guitar, Vocals), Andy Brady (Percussion)

BLVD a Jensen Beach base band got started in 2004 by a group of friend that liked hanging out with each other. After a lot of harmonizing and Jam session the group decided that they ought to make it formal and so they formed a band. Previously Bob, Scott and Andy were playing in a group called “The Whiskey Dogs” (Bob said that the group is still playing). The name BLVD came from the fact Tracy lived on Sunset Boulevard and that either the first name or the last name of the band members matches a letter in BLVD.
